CNP PAYMENTS Industry to Gather in Orlando

NEWBURYPORT, Mass., Mar 13, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) --, the first publication devoted entirely to the issues, challenges and opportunities facing merchants who accept card- or customer-not-present transactions, today announced the CNP Expo.

The event was conceived by Founder and President Steven Casco as the foremost networking and educational event serving CNP merchants and their vendors. This year's edition of the CNP Expo takes place at the Buena Vista Palace Resort & Spa in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. from May 20-22 and features FUBU founder, and star of the ABC television show Shark Tank, Daymond John.

"In the year and a half has been serving the CNP space, it's become apparent that the opportunities to gather as an industry, to learn in a focused environment, to get in a room with potential partners who can really help your business grow, are extremely limited," says Casco. "The initial response, support and input we've received from major names in the industry have convinced us that the CNP Expo is addressing an unmet need."

In addition to three days of presentations and discussions covering the latest industry trends and issues facing CNP merchants and providers, the event is the venue for the first annual CNP Awards. The awards, to be presented during a special session of the expo, honor the companies, programs and solutions that have distinguished themselves in the card-not-present space during the past year.

The CNP Expo, with its mission to educate, inspire and create growth, along with the opportunity to showcase the best of the industry through the CNP Awards, has become a destination for companies seeking to enhance their visibility.

"Kount has seized an opportunity with the CNP Expo to get in on the ground floor of what we think will become one of the premier annual meeting places for card-not-present merchants and companies like us that serve them," says Don Bush, Marketing Director of Kount. "With several other innovative companies, Kount has taken a leadership position as a member of the Expo's advisory board and we look forward to helping influence the direction of the show this year and its continued success."
