Reporting directly to Kount CEO Brad Wiskirchen, Sevounts will drive the overall brand and marketing strategy, leveraging data and insights to uncover new opportunities that build on the company’s increasing growth and further expand the extensive network of customers and partners.
Sevounts brings more than 20 years of enterprise technology experience to his new role at Kount as a seasoned marketer, industry thought leader, and spokesperson, having successfully positioned multiple leading technology brands in the marketplace, transforming revenue and demand generation models, and launching new brands and products. Having held leadership roles in the security and privacy space, he has worked closely with government bodies, agencies, and the enterprises outlining and applying security, privacy, and compliance blueprints and best practices. Sevounts joins Kount at time when new industries and audiences are looking for technologies to automate and fine-tune the fraud prevention process, as fraud has outpaced standard prevention and evolved alongside the advent of new payments methods. Before Aryaka, Sevounts held positions at both startups and global corporations, spearheading the vision and development of some of the industry’s most successful brands including Symantec, Panda Security, and Hewlett-Packard.
