Kount receives global recognition, enables Spotify to expand to new markets
While Spotify® brings music to the ears of 50 million customers in more than 57 countries, fraudulent transactions were hindering revenue and expansion until the streaming service tapped Kount to help. This was one example that a panel of payments industry experts considered as it ultimately selected Kount Complete as the Best Anti-Fraud/Security Solution of the Year for the second year in a row at the annual Payments Awards ceremony in London earlier this week.
Since Kount’s mission is to boost sales and beat fraud for merchants all over the globe, we take pride in being recognized as the leading fraud solution amidst very significant competition. The Payments Awards follow similar global recognition from the Emerging Payments Awards and the Retail Systems awards, making 2014 a very eventful and successful year. We plan to take advantage of this momentum, including the recent launch of Kount Central and our continually expanding patent base, and carry this into an even more successful 2015.
